    I have downloaded my kiln data and get results but do not understand what  I should try first. my # is /FOWZE3bZxh. It looks like P -0.1, I 44, D 11033. should I try these. I have never used a – for a P entry.

    The challenge is to avoid excessive overshoot at the start of a firing schedule.

    Looking at your test data, it seems that the step response test has not been done properly. Please look at the following guidelines to make a proper step response:
